Kalcine

Kalcine is a super-available form of potassium, complexed with citric and fulvic acids. Its pH buffering solves problems with potassium uptake, which are often pH related due to the alkalinity of this element. Designed to be used as a foliar fertilizer as well as a soil fertilizer during the potassium-hungry fruit/seed-fill stage.

Benefits Kalcine

  • Maximizes fruit and seed size
  • A high concentration of pure potassium in an acid base
  • Helps overcome lockups
  • Reduces risk of burning
  • Enhances photosynthesis

Typical Analysis w/v

  • Potassium (as citrate)...................................17.60%
  • Also includes fulvic acid as a bio
  • stimulant and complexing agent.

Application Rates

Soil: minimum dilution 1:20 (50 ml on every 1 ltr)

Foliar: minimum dilution 1:50 (20 ml on every 1 ltr)

Handling/manual

Stir or shake concentrate in bottle thoroughly before use. Add the dispensed volume to your water or to your mixture and mix thoroughly. Fertigate the soil or spray the leaves. For foliar application, always spray at the beginning of darkness or when the lights go out. Do not spray prior to a “lights on” period. Spray only 1x a week. Dilute or agitate well before and during application.

Miscellaneous

Potassium is often only required following the major potassium drawdown associated with flowering and fruit-set formation. Oversupply in the early stages of growth can result in calcium deficiency.

Storage

Store in cool dry area out of direct sunlight. Store between 5°C-25°C. Do not pre-mix or store Kalcine in a diluted form, use promptly.
